In this project we were tasked to design a chandelier. on earlier stages of research on my final project, I found a way to make geometric shapes to twist, expand and contract. I saw the potential it had in a lighting fixure as a mechanical dimming mechanism.

I used a special matterial that layers wood, paper and aluminum foil to a thin foldable sheet. it allowed me to create 3d geometric shapes that are easy to manufacture.

the class was sponsored by א. זגורי תאורה and at the end of the class there was a design competition. Tes Twist Lamp won the second prize.
