In this project we were asked to visit a proffesional workman, such a cobbler, carpenter and such. and study his working habbits, surrounding environment and equipment, to find a specific need that we could interfere with in order to help him during work.

I worked with a bicycle technician. his need was to make a tool that would help him remove the cassette off of the wheel easily, and more comfortably.

In my cassette opener I combined three tools into one.

shifted the angle of the handels in order to gain more momental strength.

and moved the handels apart from each other, in order to prevent the hands bumping each other while using the product.
